Fall Journalism Day will be Oct. 18!

The Rhode Island Press Association and University of Rhode Island Journalism Department will host the annual Fall Journalism Day on Thursday, Oct. 18, at URI.
A morning panel discussion at 10 a.m. will focus on blogging and its impact on news and the afternoon panel at 2 p.m. will discuss "Covering the Private Lives of Public Figures," with an emphasis on professional athletes.
